The works required the full remediation of part of the former steelworks site off Shepcote Lane in Sheffield.
The Shepcote Lane site required the removal of 40000 m2 of concrete slab and foundations along with reduced level excavation, on-site processing and over-excavation of the made ground to allow ground treatments to be undertaken.
There was approximately 15000 m3 of concrete to process for reuse and over 25000 m3 of made ground to be processed and reused on-site to produce the required building platforms, service yards, car parks and access roads.
Works commenced in January and were completed in May 2019.
